Ballet is the foundation of any great dancer. It is a must if you want to achieve that great technique and confidence that is going to carry you through any type of dance, and is going to help you achieve balance, strength and flexibility.  It will push you to your limits and make you lyrical and graceful. Not to mention the obtaining of a correct poisture that will help you throughout your whole life and prevent you from any injuries or spine problems. And that is why many football and basketball players have included in their training ballet sessions to increase their discipline, maneuvering skills and cordination. 

Contemporary dancing is the alternative way of movement, going against the strict rules of ballet, giving you a feeling of freedom in movement. Even though this free style is its philosophy, there are still rules that throughout the history of contemporary dancing, a group of choreographers existed that established those certain and particular rules. Making contemporary suitable for any type of dancer on contrary to ballet, that needs specific type of dancer. Contemporary is going to push your imagination in order to improvise in your choreographies and sharpen your mind.
