BREAKDANCE
Break dancing, breaking, b-boying. However you want to call it, this energetic, improvisational, explosive dance gives you the opportunity to enhance greatly your creativity due to its freestyle nature. 
Break dancing originated in New York City (Bronx specifically), during the late 1960s and early 1970s from martial arts moves developed by street gangs. The moves, originally learned as a form of self-defense against other gangs, eventually evolved into the complex and athletic moves that characterize modern break dancing. It is the oldest known Hip-hop style of dance and a milestone for Hip-Hop culture.
  Although freestyle,breakdancing has a vocabulary of moves and steps that evolved throughout its history. It incorporates body movements, spins and tricks. And it requires coordination, speed, energy, explosiveness, stamina, skills and personal style. Also, it combines acrobatics, gymnastics and martial arts. Some of its most popular moves are: Windmills, head spins, jackhammers, baby spins, hand hops, flares, elbow hops and many more.
Soon to be in the Olympic games, Breaking can be both competitive and team working, due to battles in competitions either as crews against one another, or an individual facing off another one.
