Nobody can deny the happy energy and vibes Salsa gives to you! Playful, uplifting and vibrant. The of origins of salsa date back to the 1900s in Eastern Cuba, where musical elements and rhythms from various styles were combined. Cuban son and Afro-Cuban rumba, the two main styles, used diverse musical instruments to create the basis of a rhythm that would later become known as salsa. Having a mixture of Latin American cultural influences, salsa has evolved over the years leading up to having a great variety of styles such as : Cuban Style, Afro-Latino style, Miami style, New York style, Colombian style and Rueda de Casino style. Besides having much of fun while dancing, there are numerous benefits coming from this dance. The dancing is done on eight-beat music, with dancers moving on three beats, pausing for one beat, dancing for three beats, and pausing for one beat. During the pause some sort of flourish can be utilized, be it a stomp of the foot, casting out the hand or kicking the lower leg.

-To start with, it's easy to learn. And by practicing and dedicating a little bif of your time, you could be really confident on the dance floor and stand out.

- Secondly, salsa is forcing you to get out of your comfort zone by becoming truly social. It is a partner dance, and interacting with lots of different people is all part of the fun. The salsa community is friendly and welcoming to newcomers, making it a great way to connect with people, make friends, or meet that special someone! Also socializing, makes you happier. In addition to the partnered movements of salsa dancing, dancers may incorporate solo breaks known as shines into their dancing.

- In addition to this, salsa improves your memory skills. By having so many combinations, steps, routines and patterns in order to dance you need to quick, alert and focused it motivates your memory and skills to be sharp.

- Moreover, it improves your emotional health. By dancing, endorphins

are being released and this makes you happy pushing away stress and depression.

- Besides this, by dancing there is an increased blood circulation. It helps us burn those calories away, while improving our stamina.

- Not to mention that it shapes you, due to focusing in all major muscle groups.
